Yota — Mobile WiMax

Yota provides services for high-speed wireless internet (4G) on Mobile WiMAX technology.

Yota is the first Russian mobile WiMAX network. It extends across Moscow, St. Petersburg and Ufa, regions with populations of over 20 million people. The network operates under the standard IEEE 802.16e-2005 with very high frequency 2.5-2.7 GHz.

Yota是第一个在俄罗斯提供移动WiMAX服务的运营商。目前，其WiMAX业务已经覆盖了俄罗斯约2000万人口。在莫斯科，每个设备的速率最高可达10 Mbps。

我在使用过程中，没有使用速度测试工具，只是浏览了一些网站，看了Youtube，感觉在访问俄罗斯网站速度相当快，在看Youtube的过程中，没有任何卡的现象。但是访问美国网站的时候，速度有些慢，也许是出口带宽的问题。像QQ语音视频什么的都非常的顺畅。个人感觉非常好，现在还处在测试阶段，三月、四月、五月都是免费使用的哦。

Yota!提供了多种Modem供用户选择，有USB Modem,Mobile WiMax/Wi-Fi center,HTC 4G WiMax Phone,以及内置了Wimax的三十多款本本。按现在的汇率，这个三星的USB Modem价格大概在1000人民币左右。
